Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 20, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how B&B Services Kirksville LLC (“B&B Services,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information through BOSS, our business operations and financial-management application.
1. Information BOSS may collect
Depending on how BOSS is used, the application may process business and personal information such as names, company names, email addresses, telephone numbers, billing and service addresses, customer and vendor records, estimates, jobs, invoices, payments, documents, notes, account activity, user-profile information, and other information entered into BOSS by authorized users.
BOSS also records operational and security information necessary to run and protect the application, including login activity, audit records, timestamps, application diagnostics, user actions, and technical information associated with requests to the service.
2. Financial account information
BOSS may allow authorized users to connect eligible financial accounts through Stripe Financial Connections. When a financial account is connected and the appropriate permissions are granted, BOSS may receive information made available through Stripe, including the financial institution name, account display name, account type, partial account identifiers such as the last four digits, current or available balances, transaction dates, transaction descriptions, transaction amounts, transaction status, and related financial-account metadata.
BOSS uses connected financial-account information to provide bank-feed synchronization, transaction matching, reconciliation, balance comparison, financial reporting, and related accounting and business-management functionality.
BOSS does not request, receive, or store the username, password, PIN, security answer, or other online-banking credentials used to authenticate directly with a financial institution. Financial-account authentication is performed through Stripe Financial Connections and the applicable financial institution or data provider.
3. How we use information
We use information processed through BOSS to operate and maintain the application; provide customer, job, estimate, invoice, payment, banking, reconciliation, reporting, portal, and document-management functionality; authenticate users; maintain audit and activity histories; send authorized transactional communications; detect and troubleshoot errors; protect the application from misuse; maintain backups and recovery capabilities; and comply with applicable accounting, contractual, legal, or regulatory obligations.
4. How financial information is shared
We do not sell financial-account information or personal information obtained through BOSS. We do not use connected-bank data for advertising.
Information may be shared with service providers only when reasonably necessary to operate the requested functionality. For example, Stripe processes financial-account connections and related financial data when Stripe Financial Connections is used. Other service providers may include hosting, email-delivery, payment-processing, backup, or infrastructure providers used to operate BOSS.
We may also disclose information when required by law, legal process, governmental request, or when reasonably necessary to protect the security, rights, or property of B&B Services Kirksville LLC, BOSS users, customers, or others.
5. Stripe Financial Connections
When an authorized BOSS user chooses to connect a financial account, the connection experience is provided by Stripe. Stripe's own privacy practices and terms apply to information Stripe collects and processes as part of that connection. BOSS receives only the financial-account data that the user authorizes Stripe to make available to the application.
6. Bank connection control and disconnection
Authorized users may stop using a connected financial account or request that the connection be disconnected. Disconnecting a financial institution does not necessarily remove accounting records or transactions that were previously imported into BOSS. Previously imported information may be retained when needed to preserve invoices, payments, reconciliations, accounting history, audit trails, backups, legal records, or other legitimate business records.
7. Data retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide BOSS, maintain accurate business and accounting records, satisfy contractual or legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security and audit histories, and support backup and disaster-recovery processes. Retention periods may vary depending on the type of information and the business purpose for which it is maintained.
8. Data security
We use administrative and technical safeguards intended to protect information handled by BOSS. Sensitive application secrets are stored using protected application mechanisms where supported, access to BOSS is authenticated, and business actions may be recorded through audit and activity histories. No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
9. User access and choices
Authorized BOSS users may be able to review or update certain profile and business information directly within the application. Requests concerning access, correction, deletion, or other privacy questions will be evaluated in light of applicable law and any requirement to retain accounting, audit, security, contractual, or legal records.
10. Children's privacy
BOSS is a business-management application and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly design BOSS for use by children as a consumer service.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as BOSS, our service providers, legal requirements, or our data practices change. The current version will be published at this URL with its most recent revision date.
12. Contact
Questions regarding this Privacy Policy or information handled through BOSS may be directed to B&B Services Kirksville LLC. Current business contact information is available through our normal business communications and at bbserviceskv.com.
